Wedding Brows: When to Get Brow Lamination Before Your Big Day

The short answer

Book your wedding brow lamination and tint 3–5 days before the big day, so brows have softened and any redness is long gone. If it’s your first lamination, do a trial 4–8 weeks earlier. Avoid waxing in the 48 hours before photos.

From barn weddings near Fort Langley to backyard receptions in Clayton and big family celebrations across Surrey, we do a lot of wedding brows. Here’s the timeline we give every bride.

The wedding brow timeline

8 to 4 weeks before: the trial

If you’ve never been laminated or tinted, book a trial. It shows you exactly how your brows respond, lets us perfect the shape and colour, and gives your skin a test run. A Clover Trio is perfect for this.

From 4 weeks before: hands off

Stop tweezing. Seriously. Let us see the full brow so the final shape has as much to work with as possible.

1 week before: pause the actives

No retinol, acids or new skincare on your forehead. A wedding week is not the time to try a new peel.

3 to 5 days before: the real thing

Lamination, shaping and tint. By wedding day your brows will have softened into their best shape, any pinkness from waxing will be long gone, and the tint will be fresh.

48 hours before: nothing new

No more waxing, no tanning on the face, and no sleeping face-down in the last nights if you can help it.

Wedding morning

Brush them up with a spoolie. Your makeup artist will thank you — laminated brows need little more than a whisper of product.

What about the bridal party?

Bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, sisters, cousins — we love a group. Book everyone in back to back three to five days before, and you get a little calm pre-wedding moment together.

Big family events, too

The same timing works for Diwali, Vaisakhi, Eid, Christmas parties, grad and family photos: book 3–7 days ahead. These dates fill quickly in Surrey, so reserve early.

Plan your wedding brows — mention your date in the notes and we’ll work backwards with you.

Quick questions

We don’t recommend it. Day-one brows look very set and you can’t wash them for 24 hours. Three to five days before is ideal.

Yes. Send us the number of people and your date and we’ll plan back-to-back appointments.

Yes. After the first 24 hours, rain and humidity won’t undo lamination — it holds far better than brow gel.
